Captain Robbie Whitmore started his career with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in 2008. During his tenure with MCSO, he has served in the Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations Division, Special Operations Bureau, and as an Investigator for the Cold Case Task Force with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. Captain Whitmore previously served ten years with the Tactical Team, holding the responsibility of Assistant Team Leader.
As the Commander of the Patrol Division, Captain Whitmore is directly responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the division, which includes the traffic unit, criminal patrol, and the K-9 Unit. Additionally, Captain Whitmore is the Commander of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Unit, and currently holds a Remote Pilot’s License, issued by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Captain Whitmore earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University (2013) and a Master of Science in Justice and Public Safety from Auburn University Montgomery (2017).
