Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Firearms Familiarization Course
CLASSES ARE HELD ONE SATURDAYS A MONTH 4 HOURS OF INSTRUCTION TIME 4 HOURS OF PRACTICE TIME	This course is for citizens of Montgomery County to teach them firearm safety and firearm laws. We will not teach nor cover legal issues concerning firearms. **You must have a Montgomery County Pistol Permit to take the class.**	NO CHILDREN ALLOWED

Please keep in mind that pistol permit applications take 4-6 weeks to be processed and received in the mail so plan accordingly.  Once you receive your pistol permit, please complete the application and email it to MCSOSupportServices@mc-ala.org, or fax to 334.832.7113 or mail it back to the Sheriff’s Office at the following address:
