ABOUT EXPLORER POST 2590

Explorer Post 2590 is a law enforcement Post sponsored by the capital city of Alabama- Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.  Our Post is a hands-on Post that will give each member the knowledge and insight on what it takes to handle

a career in law enforcement or corrections. The Post is a year-round Post that opens new membership every September

to young men and women ages 14 to 19.

OBJECTIVES of EXPLORER POST 2590

 

To provide fun “hands-on” experience in the fields of law enforcement and corrections

To promote volunteering and community service for the good of our community and its members

To encourage positive social interactions and team building through group activities

To instill discipline and leadership among our members

Meetings

1^st Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

1^st floor of the Sheriff’s Office, 115 South Perry Street Montgomery, Alabama 36104

Dues

Explorer Post 2590 dues are $20.00 for the 2012-2013 year.   

 There are usually no unexpected costs; however, if there are,

 Explorers will be notified in a timely manner.
