Criminal Investigation is responsible for investigating all reported crimes, mainly felonies, in Montgomery County. This will range from murder to bad checks. On average, our investigators deal mainly with burglary and theft cases. This past year (2004) we had 177 burglasries and 554 thefts. Murders in the County average approximately three a year.
