Extraction Team

The Extraction Team is a specially trained core of Correctional Officers qualified to provide effective removal, by force, of a non-compliant inmate from his/her cell.

The E-Team deals with complex cell entry procedures used to move non-compliant inmates from one cell to another without causing physical injury to either the inmate or the officer.  This procedure requires eight (8) well-equipped officers to enter the cell in formation to safely restrain and secure the inmate.  Once the subdued inmate has been relocated, each member exits the cell in reverse order. 

All extractions are recorded to ensure the liability of the team and the individuals involved.
