Charges and bonding information may be obtained by contacting the Detention Facility at 334.832.4985.  Officers are available twenty-four hours each day, seven days a week, to approve and accept bail.  The primary purpose of “bail” is to procure the release of a person charged with an offense upon obtaining assurance of the defendant’s future appearance in court.  Bail options include:

·     Property Bail:  Qualifications for property bail are that each surety must be a resident of the State of Alabama and the property shall be worth the amount expressed in the bond, exclusive of encumbrances and homestead exemptions.  The property owner must present a copy their current tax assessment form and photo identification.

·     Cash Bail:   Cash bail may be made in the Court Clerk’s office Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
