Civil Process

The Civil Office of the Legal Service Division is responsible for the service of approximately eight thousand orders of civil litigation, issued by the courts, per month. Some of the various legal papers served are subpoenas, lawsuits, evictions, and executions. This section also issues and records all pistol permits. Approximately thirteen thousand pistol permits were issued in the year 2006.
