The Administrative Division consist of Supply, Communications, Crime Scene Unit, Community Involvement, Recruiting, School Involvement, and Traffic Enforcement Unit. The Division provides support for other divisions and the Sheriff's Office in the areas of issuing and maintaining equipment, dispatch, issuing and maintaining communication equipment, maintaining computers, processing crime scenes, processing and maintaining evidence, community education, community projects, recruiting, D.A.R.E., school security, and traffic enforcement. Each unit, within the Administrative Division, is staffed by specialized personnel that are trained in their respective areas. The Administrative Division is often called on by the Sheriff and his staff to perform duties that do not fall into the scope of any other division. Additionally, the Administrative Division responds to serious incidents to provide back-up and support for other divisions in the department. Although it is the smallest division in the Sheriff's Office, The Administrative Division has the greatest scope of responsibility of all the divisions.
